Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, over 10 million UAH of unpaid taxes have been reimbursed to the state budget by a company engaged in the trade of agro-industrial products.

It has been established that during 2023–2024, the director of the company sold over 1,800 tons of sunflower oil, generating income of over 46 million UAH, which was not reflected in the tax declaration.

As a result, the state lost over 10.6 million UAH in personal income tax and military levy.

The head of the company has been notified of suspicion of tax evasion in particularly large amounts (Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Thanks to the measures taken during the pre-trial investigation, the damages have been fully reimbursed, and the funds have already been transferred to the budget.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by detectives of the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Kyiv region in cooperation with the main unit of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine.
