Prosecutors of the Office of the Attorney General have sent an indictment to the court regarding an official of one of the municipal enterprises in the Odesa region. He received an unlawful benefit of 11 thousand dollars through an intermediary from a representative of a contracting organization.

This money was received by the official for influencing the decision-making of officials of the local government regarding the signing of acts of completed work and the continuation of funding for the capital repair of the food block of one of the educational institutions.

The indictment has been sent to the court under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Currently, the accused is in custody.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Main Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
