Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy City District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on the evening of October 30, 2025, the city of Sumy was attacked by enemy drones. One projectile hit a multi-story building. Five people were injured - a man, two women, and two underage girls.

Several apartments were completely burned out.

Another drone damaged a two-story building. Four people were injured - two women and two minors.

The enemy also attacked critical infrastructure facilities. Two men were injured.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the attack.

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators from the Sumy District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Sumy region.
