Under the public prosecution of the prosecutors of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a resident of the region has been found guilty of collaboration activities (part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The court sentenced him to 13 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. He is also prohibited from holding positions in law enforcement agencies and expert institutions, state authorities, state administration, local self-government, and engaging in activities related to the provision of public services for a period of 15 years.

It has been proven that during the temporary occupation of Kherson, the accused worked in the pseudo-position of "expert of the automotive technical research department" in an illegally created law enforcement agency – the "Expert and Criminalistic Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kherson Region." While carrying out criminal orders from the occupation administration, he, in particular, prepared expert conclusions within the framework of this pseudo-organization's activities.

The special pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigation in the city of Melitopol.
