Under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General, a lawyer from Zaporizhzhia and two of her accomplices have been notified of suspicion for the illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

It has been established that for 14 thousand US dollars, the suspects facilitated the issuance of a disability status for a conscript. With a fictitious diagnosis, he could obtain a "white ticket," which would allow him to cross the state border of Ukraine without hindrance.

As an alternative, the suspects also offered transportation across the state border outside of checkpoints or in violation of the established procedure for crossing the state border. The cost of such a "service" was estimated at 8 thousand US dollars. However, this scheme would only allow crossing the border once.

The issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspects is being resolved.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Main Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
