With the participation of juvenile prosecutors from the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court upheld the sentence of a local resident who was convicted of committing sexual acts against minor children and their corruption (part 6 of Article 152, part 2 of Article 156 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment.

Prosecutors proved that the convicted individual was an acquaintance of the victims' family. During the summer of 2023, he committed sexual acts against an 8-year-old boy and repeatedly corrupted a 10-year-old girl, exploiting their trust and helplessness. 

It is worth noting that the man was sentenced back in July. However, he did not admit his guilt and disagreed with the sentence, filing an appeal. Despite this, the evidence provided fully confirmed the man's guilt in the rape.

The appellate court agreed with the prosecutor's arguments and upheld the sentence.
