Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Kovel District Prosecutor's Office in the Volyn region, a 38-year-old resident of the village of Lyubeshiv has been notified of suspicion of facilitating the illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine by a group of individuals in prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the man, together with an accomplice, developed a scheme for transporting conscripted individuals across the state border of Ukraine outside of border crossing points to the Republic of Belarus.

Three men were found who agreed to pay 16,000 US dollars for crossing the border.

The plan for transportation could not be fully realized – on October 10, 2025, the vehicle in which the man was transporting three conscripted men to the border was stopped by law enforcement officers in Volyn.

The suspect has been placed in custody as a preventive measure.
