According to the investigation, on August 6, 2025, the armed forces of the Russian Federation shelled civilian infrastructure facilities in the Bilenkivka territorial community of the Zaporizhzhia region. At least 3 airstrikes hit the territory of a recreation center. As a result of the enemy attack, 2 civilians were killed, and at least 12 were injured, including 2 minors.

Information regarding the victims is being clarified.

Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, an investigation has been initiated in a criminal proceeding regarding the commission of a war crime that resulted in loss of life (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceeding is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
