Today, prosecutors from the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office and district prosecutor's offices, together with police and SBI investigators, announced suspicions against 22 individuals for a total amount of damages exceeding 230 million hryvnias. The suspects are officials of municipal enterprises and structural divisions of the Kyiv City State Administration, as well as entrepreneurs who carried out repairs or supplied goods with budget funds. The officials are suspected of negligence in office, which cost the city budget hundreds, and in some cases millions of hryvnias, as in the case of the suspension of metro train movement on the section from the "Lybidska" station to the "Teremky" station  (part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and in aiding the misappropriation of budget funds (part 5 of Article 27, part 4 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Contractors who performed repair work or supplied goods with budget funds have been notified of suspicions of misappropriating funds (part 4, 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). In particular, the following individuals have received suspicions:

- the head of the apparatus of the Kyiv City State Administration and former director of the KP "ATP KCSA";

- the deputy director of the Department – head of the road infrastructure management of the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration;

-  the head of the management of the KP "Kyivteleservis";

- the director and former accountant of a lyceum in the Desnyansky district;

-  an official of the KP "Managing Company for the Maintenance of the Housing Fund of the Obolon District of Kyiv";

-  an official of the Education Department of the Podilskyi District State Administration;

- an official of the Education Department of the Dnipro District State Administration;

- an official of the Education Department of the Shevchenkivskyi District State Administration;

- the chief engineer of the KP SHEU of the Podilskyi district;

- the chief engineer of the KP SHEU of the Pecherskyi district;

- the authorized person for public procurement of the KP "Municipal Security";

- an official of the KP "UZN of the Sviatoshyn District";

- the general director of the National Historical and Architectural Museum "Kyiv Fortress";

- four individual entrepreneurs who supplied generators for school shelters;

- an entrepreneur who acted as a technical supervision engineer during the repair of school shelters;

-  the director of a company that supplied plants to a municipal enterprise.

Prosecutors have submitted motions to the court for the selection of preventive measures for the suspects and the suspension of officials from their positions.
