Prosecutors of the Volyn Regional Prosecutor's Office have sent an indictment to the court in a criminal proceeding regarding the organization by a police officer from one of the departments of the Volodymyr District Police Department of the National Police in the region of illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine (part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

It has been established that in June 2025, the law enforcement officer, together with accomplices, organized the illegal transportation of a conscripted man across the state border of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova for a monetary reward of 8,000 US dollars.

The accused has been dismissed from the police.

One of his accomplices has already been brought to criminal responsibility, and the identities of others are being established.

Pre-trial investigation: Territorial Administration of the State Bureau of Investigations in Lviv with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Volyn region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent until their guilt is proven in the manner prescribed by law and confirmed by a guilty verdict of the court.
