In the evening and at night on December 8, the Russian army struck cities in Ukraine. Medical personnel and rescuers are working on-site. Prosecutors, together with law enforcement, are documenting the consequences and recording war crimes committed by the Russian Federation under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Sumy region.

On the evening of December 7, 2025, the Russian Armed Forces, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, attacked a residential area in the city of Okhtyrka with four drones. Seven people were injured. A 10-story residential building and four vehicles were damaged.

Dnipropetrovsk region.

As a result of the strike on the night of December 8 in the city of Dnipro, apartment buildings and a car were damaged.

In the Pavlohrad district, four people were injured in a drone attack, including a child. In the Nikopol district, a 13-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling using FPV drones.

In the Kryvyi Rih district, a man was killed by an enemy FPV drone strike.

Private and apartment buildings, an outbuilding, and vehicles were damaged.

Chernihiv region.

On the night of December 8, the occupiers attacked the central part of the city of Chernihiv with UAVs. As of the morning, three people are known to have been injured. An apartment building, a kindergarten, an office building, a shopping center, and civilian cars were damaged. The fire that broke out at the impact site has been extinguished.
