Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office and the Chuhuiv District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv Region, pre-trial investigations have been initiated into the facts of committing war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on September 23, approximately between 22:00 and 23:00, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a massive attack on Kharkiv. Within an hour, the enemy used 18 strike drones of the "Geran-2" type against the city. An energy infrastructure facility was damaged in the city, windows were shattered in houses, and so on.

In addition, on September 24, from 00:45 to 01:00, enemy drones of the specified type struck the private residential sector in the city of Chuhuiv.

Houses, outbuildings, and vehicles were damaged. A 38-year-old woman experienced an acute stress reaction.

Prosecutors, together with police investigators, are taking all legally prescribed measures to document war crimes and collect evidence for further investigation.
