Prosecutors of the Chernivtsi Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the sphere of defense of the Western region upheld the legality of the decision to return the property complex of the recreation base in the town of Zatoka, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, in the appellate court.

It was established that over 1300 sq. m of residential premises worth more than 46 million UAH were illegally removed from the ownership of the state defense enterprise back in 2013 during an auction, and subsequently were resold multiple times to third parties.

The court agreed with the prosecutors' arguments and recognized the state's ownership rights to the object.

On August 26, 2025, the court's decision came into legal force. The process of its execution and the inclusion of the object in the state register under the Ministry of Defense is ongoing.
