Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Brovary District Prosecutor's Office, the prosecution has submitted an indictment to the court against a deputy of one of the village councils in Kyiv region for the fact of illegal enrichment (Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, from 2020 to 2024, the suspect acquired unjustified assets amounting to over 29,797,941.86 UAH. According to the conclusion of the NACP, the income and expenses of the official and his family members do not correspond to the value of the property they acquired during this period.

As part of the pre-trial investigation, a search was conducted at the official's residence, after which the indictment was submitted for court consideration.

The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Brovary District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
