At the request of the prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, the Holosiivskyi District Court of Kyiv has suspended the Director of the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration from performing his official duties for two months. He is suspected of official negligence that led to the untimely detection of an emergency situation in the metro tunnel and the closure of traffic on the section between the "Lybidska" and "Teremky" stations. 

The court also chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of nighttime house arrest.

Prosecutors will appeal this decision in the appellate court, as they had requested the court to impose round-the-clock house arrest with the wearing of an electronic bracelet on the official.
