An expert enforcement officer was convicted of 10 years in prison, who passed the enemy coordinates of the departments of the Armed Forces in Mykolaiv region

Under public prosecution by the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court found a resident of Mykolaiv guilty of unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, committed under martial law (Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The court sentenced him to 10 years of imprisonment.

The prosecutor proved in court that the convicted individual, a former police officer, began correspondence with a representative of the aggressor country through a Telegram channel, which is administered by a person recruited by the FSB of the Russian Federation and involved in criminal proceedings. The perpetrator collected and transmitted information to the enemy regarding the locations of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations in Mykolaiv and the region. He provided intelligence data in the form of markers on a map of the area and graphic coordinates.

The convicted individual is in custody.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region.
