Under the public prosecution of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a 42-year-old resident of Sumy has been found guilty of committing treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).  

By the court's verdict, he was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.  

The prosecutor proved in court that the accused collected and transmitted data about the deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region, the movement of military equipment, and the coordinates of energy infrastructure facilities through a chat bot of the FSB of the Russian Federation.  

He awaited the court's verdict in custody.  

The pre-trial investigation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office by investigators of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
