14.08.2025
With the support of the public prosecution by the prosecutors of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court found a serviceman of the 810th Separate Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation guilty of voluntarily participating in the armed formations of the aggressor state (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
He was sentenced to the maximum punishment under the specified article — 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
Prosecutors proved in court that a resident of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea voluntarily signed a contract for military service with the armed forces of the aggressor state at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. As part of the 810th Separate Marine Brigade of military unit 13140, he was responsible for guarding the Antonivskyi Bridge and participated in defensive measures in the territories of the Kherson region. He also fought alongside the occupiers against the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
In August 2023, he received an order to take positions in the village of Robotyne in the Polohy district of the Zaporizhzhia region, where during combat clashes, Ukrainian servicemen captured him.
He awaited the court's verdict in custody.
The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
