Under the public prosecution of the prosecutors of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, a resident of Odesa region has been found guilty of treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She has been sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Prosecutors proved in court that the woman voluntarily collaborated with a representative of the Russian special services. She received instructions from him to collect and transmit information about the locations of military facilities in the territory of Odesa and the region. In exchange for her cooperation, the curator promised her assistance in relocating to Russia or Belarus and support in finding employment for her and her family.

Acting on behalf of the enemy, the convicted woman gathered information about the locations of military unit deployment points, border service, marine corps, and recruitment centers. The perpetrator also determined the number of personnel and the availability of military equipment.

To transmit the information, this woman used photos, videos, and screenshots of maps with exact coordinates. Overall, she managed to transmit data about at least 10 facilities in this manner.

The convicted woman awaited the court's verdict in custody.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in Odesa.
