The Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office supported the public prosecution in the case of a man who committed violent sexual acts against a 15-year-old girl.

The court found him guilty under Part 3 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and, taking into account his sincere remorse and admission of guilt, sentenced him to 7 years of imprisonment.

In June 2025, the convicted man – the cohabitant of the victim's sister – was left alone with her and offered the girl sexual relations. After being refused, he used physical force against her and committed violent sexual acts. The victim reported the incident to her relatives, who informed the police. 

Until the verdict takes legal effect, the convicted man will remain in custody.
