Prosecutors in Mykolaiv region proved in court the guilt of a 30-year-old local resident in the unauthorized dissemination of information regarding the movement and placement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations established in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under martial law (part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He was sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment.

Through “Telegram,” the man transmitted coordinates of the combat positions of anti-aircraft missile systems and mobile fire groups that protect the airspace of frontline Mykolaiv from Russian attacks to a pro-Kremlin Russian blogger. 

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region.
