To a lifetime prisoner convicted of a rapist of two native daughters

With the support of the public prosecution, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court found a man guilty of raping his two minor daughters (parts 3, 4, 6 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He was sentenced to life imprisonment. A decision was also made to include information about the convicted individual in the Unified Register of Persons Convicted of Crimes Against the Sexual Freedom and Inviolability of Minors.

Since spring 2022, the convicted man systematically raped his daughters. At the time the crimes began, the girls were 9 and 13 years old. The man committed sexual acts when he was alone with his daughters and subsequently ordered them not to tell anyone about it.

In October 2024, law enforcement uncovered him. He awaited the verdict while in custody.

The man did not admit his guilt. However, irrefutable evidence of his guilt included consistent testimonies from the victims, results of forensic medical and psychological examinations, video recordings of investigative experiments, as well as the conclusion of a polygraph test, which confirmed the falsehood of the defendant's explanations and his involvement in the crimes.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the investigative unit of the Lozova District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Kharkiv Regional and Lozova District Prosecutor's Offices.
