The consequences of another shelling of Kherson by Russian troops are documented: two women were killed, 24 civilians were injured, including children

On October 24, 2025, the Russian military carried out a massive shelling of one of the residential neighborhoods in the city of Kherson using multiple launch rocket systems.

According to preliminary data, two women aged 45 and 83 were killed. 24 civilians were injured, including three children. 

As a result of the shelling, 23 apartment buildings and 58 private houses, nine civilian cars, a police service vehicle, two ambulances, a shuttle bus, and a trolleybus were damaged.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the commission of war crimes that resulted in loss of life (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).  

Prosecutors, together with investigators, are conducting urgent investigative actions to document yet another war crime committed by the Russian military.
