The farmer was informed of the suspicion of cooperation with the occupation administration to export more than 2.3 thousand tons of grain to the Russian Federation

The investigation has established that in 2022, the suspect voluntarily collaborated with representatives of the aggressor country and supported the decisions of the occupation administrations in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv region regarding the export of grain to the Russian Federation.

For this purpose, in June 2022, the woman received a patent for wholesale grain trading from the "Temporary Civil Administration of the Kharkiv Region." Based on this, representatives of the Russian Federation provided the suspect with agricultural machinery and fuel.

Subsequently, she entered into a contract for the transportation of grain by rail across the temporarily occupied territory of the Kharkiv region and the territory of the Russian Federation, exporting the harvest to Russia.

According to witness testimonies, the woman also involved employees of the enterprises under her control in carrying out work on agricultural lands and in storage facilities.

Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, the owner of agricultural enterprises in the Kupiansk district has been notified of suspicion of aiding the aggressor state (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

During authorized searches at the suspect's residence, documentation was seized that confirms the fact of transferring over 2,300 tons of grain to representatives of the aggressor state during the 2022 harvest.

The total volume of the exported harvest is being established.

Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect is being resolved.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
