According to the investigation, in April 2025, a representative of the Russian special services recruited a woman via the Telegram messenger. For a monetary reward, the woman actively collaborated with the enemy: she collected data from various locations, transmitted video materials regarding the security and defense systems of military units, and was an administrator of one of the channels on “Telegram,” where she spread posts justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. The accused also provided the enemy with information about the military unit where her own son was undergoing training. 

Later, she agreed to manufacture a remote-controlled explosive device and carry out a terrorist act at one of the military facilities.  The curator promised her 5 thousand US dollars.

Law enforcement officers uncovered and detained the woman in June 2025.  Currently, the accused is in custody without the right to bail.

She is charged with actions aimed at seizing state power, treason, preparation for the manufacture of an explosive device, justifying and denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, as well as glorifying individuals who carry it out (Part 3 of Article 109, Part 2 of Article 111, Part 1 of Article 14, Part 1 of Article 263-1, Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators under the operational support of counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Khmelnytskyi region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
