Thanks to the cooperation of regional units of the Security Service of Ukraine and regional prosecutors' offices, it was possible to prevent terrorist attacks in several regions of Ukraine. The suspects have been detained.

Rivne Region

A resident of Zaporizhzhia, carrying out a task from a representative of Russian special services, arrived in Rivne, received a homemade explosive device at a pre-arranged location, prepared it for combat readiness, and planted it in a vehicle marked with insignia typical of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The offender was detained by law enforcement officers at the crime scene.

Dnipropetrovsk Region

A couple from Dnipro was recruited via the Telegram messenger by Russian special services. They were offered "earnings" for carrying out sabotage tasks. According to the curator's instructions, the man purchased the necessary components and made a homemade explosive device. The woman created fake accounts on a dating site and contacted a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She arranged a meeting, asking to pick up items for her "brother" from an acquaintance. The suspect arrived at the meeting with the military and handed him a backpack containing explosives. Immediately after the handover, the offenders attempted to remotely detonate the explosive device, but law enforcement officers timely neutralized the device and detained them.

Vinnytsia Region

A resident of Zhytomyr has been exposed as part of an enemy agent-informant network. The young man transmitted photos, video recordings, and exact coordinates of police stations, military enlistment offices, and military vehicles in his city to his curator via Telegram, for which he received money on a bank card.

For $1,000, he agreed to go to Vinnytsia and install explosives at specified coordinates. He arrived in the regional center in the evening, retrieved the explosive device from a hiding place as instructed by his curator, which consisted of a container with a powdery substance and two phones connected to it, carried the package into the yard of residential high-rises, and left it in a flowerbed. According to preliminary data, the explosives were to be activated when military personnel were nearby.

Depending on the actions committed by the suspect, he is charged under Part 2 of Article 15, Part 2 of Article 258, and Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Under the procedural guidance of the Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, and Vinnytsia regional prosecutors' offices, the pre-trial investigation is being conducted by regional units of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
