Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General, a suspicion has been announced against the head of a state enterprise, two heads of its structural divisions, and a businessman. Their actions resulted in damages to the state exceeding 8 million UAH.

The investigation established that the head of the state enterprise and two officials, in collusion with the businessman, organized the purchase of two telescopic loaders at an inflated price – nearly 20 million UAH instead of the actual 12 million UAH. As a result, there was illegal appropriation of funds from the state enterprise in particularly large amounts – 8 million UAH.

The prosecutor's office has charged the head and officials under Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (official negligence), Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power), and Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (embezzlement of property in particularly large amounts).

During searches at the residences of the suspects and in the office premises of the enterprises, documentation was discovered and seized, which will be used as evidence in the criminal proceedings.

A motion has been submitted to the court for the suspension of the head of the state enterprise from their position. A motion has been prepared for the selection of preventive measures for all suspects.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
