Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a former employee of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region has been notified of suspicion of treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, in August 2025, a 31-year-old former law enforcement officer met a representative of the FSB of the Russian Federation on "Telegram". 

During their communication, the suspect provided the curator with the locations of checkpoints and personnel of the Defense Forces in the Kramatorsk direction. In addition, at his request, he detailed the routes of military equipment movement and emphasized the locations of its greatest concentration, plotting routes on Google Maps and sending screenshots depicting the terrain. 

At the request of the prosecutors, the man is in custody without the right to bail. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of 15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment, with confiscation of property.
