Missile strikes in different regions of Ukraine were corrected - three traitors exposed in Khmelnytskyi will be tried
05.11.2025
Prosecutors of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office have sent an indictment to the court against two men and a woman for acts of treason committed by a group of individuals in conspiracy, and for the unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement and location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 111, Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that three individuals were remotely recruited. They received instructions from a common curator to prepare coordinates for strikes on Ukraine's defense facilities.
Acting separately, the individuals collected data for Russian special services in various regions of the country – Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as in Sumy, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia.
The agents traveled around the country and left their cars with activated video recorders near defense facilities, while they themselves went to the nearest food establishment from where they observed. The video recordings, which captured the personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian military, were transmitted to the client.
Law enforcement uncovered and detained the individuals in May 2025. One of them was caught in the Khmelnytskyi region while attempting to carry out the task of the Russian curator, and the other two were detained at their residence in Zaporizhzhia.
The accused are in custody without the right to bail.
The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Khmelnytskyi region with operational support from the counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi and the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Khmelnytskyi region.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
