Under the public prosecution of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a man has been found guilty of committing treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He has been sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The prosecutor proved in court that the convicted individual began collaborating with a representative of the Russian special services from the first days of the war. He provided information regarding the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and after enemy shelling, he supplied photos of the aftermath and adjusted subsequent strikes on the territory of the Krasnopill community.

The man awaited the court's verdict behind bars.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region.
