A massive combined enemy attack on Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv region - prosecutors capture the effects of shelling

On the night of July 25 to 26, 2025, Russian troops launched a combined attack on the territories of Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, using missiles, strike drones, and aerial bombs.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
In Dnipro, a man was killed as a result of shelling, and a girl died in the hospital. A multi-story residential building, industrial infrastructure facilities, and civilian vehicles were damaged.
In the Dnipro district, enemy strikes caused a large fire at a shopping center and one of the enterprises. One person died, and four others were injured.
Kharkiv Region
On July 26, approximately between 00:10 and 3:00, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a combined attack on civilian enterprises in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. Initially, the enemy used four guided aerial bombs, one of which exploded in the air. Later, two Iskander-type ballistic missiles and over ten Geran-2-type drones were used.
A 39-year-old man and three State Emergency Service employees who were eliminating the aftermath were injured. All the victims were taken to the hospital.
Between 1:30 and 3:00, the Russian army attacked Chuhuiv with two Iskander-type ballistic missiles and 12 Geran-2-type drones. Residential buildings, an educational institution, and an enterprise were damaged. A fire broke out in the forest area. Three men were injured, including a medic. The injured were hospitalized.
Prosecutors are documenting the consequences of the cynical attacks on the civilian population by representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, the Kyiv District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv, and the Chuhuiv District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv Region, pre-trial investigations have been initiated regarding the shelling incidents (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
All facts of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation will be documented and submitted to the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine.
