Under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors of the Cherkasy District Prosecutor's Office, a resident of the Cherkasy region has been charged with the rape of his minor daughter and a minor girl.

The man's actions have been classified under part 4 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - rape of a person under the age of fourteen, and under parts 1 and 2 of Article 155 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - rape of a person under the age of sixteen.

According to the investigation, throughout the current year, the 36-year-old man repeatedly raped his daughter. At the time of the crime, the girl's age was under 14 years.

Additionally, in the summer of this year, the suspect raped his daughter's friend - a 15-year-old girl who was visiting them.

At the prosecutor's request, the suspect has been placed in custody without the right to bail.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by investigators of the Cherkasy District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Cherkasy region.

The public prosecution in court will be conducted by the leadership of the prosecutor's office.
