Prosecutors of the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor's Office ensured the receipt of almost 7 million UAH in unpaid taxes to the state budget (part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

A company that sells food products received over 34 million UAH in income from January 2024 to June 2025, but the director intentionally did not reflect part of the funds in the reporting to avoid paying VAT. As a result, almost 7 million UAH did not reach the budget.

During the pre-trial investigation, the entrepreneur fully compensated for the damages caused to the state.

The pre-trial investigation in the specified proceedings was conducted by detectives of the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Chernivtsi region.
