Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, an indictment has been sent to court against 11 members of the criminal organization "White Brotherhood".
The accused are charged with the creation and leadership of a criminal organization, as well as participation in it, illegal acquisition, storage, and sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (parts 1, 2 of Article 255, parts 2, 3 of Article 27, part 4 of Article 28, part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation has established that a 50-year-old criminal authority from the "White Brotherhood" criminal group established a drug business in the territories of the cities of Nikopol and Pokrov in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He involved 10 other individuals in illegal activities.
They purchased methamphetamine, cannabis, and PVP, stored the drugs in specially prepared hiding places, and later sold them for cash.
According to the investigation's calculations, they sold up to 35,000 doses each month, earning over 12 million UAH in illegal profits.
During nearly 60 searches, law enforcement seized narcotic and psychotropic substances, weapons, cash, and vehicles.
The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region with operational support from the employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine.
