In Dnipropetrovsk, they exposed an attempt to illegally cross the border according to fictitious documents

Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Kryvyi Rih Southern District Prosecutor's Office, an indictment has been sent to court against a group of individuals for attempting to organize the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine and for receiving unlawful benefits for influencing officials (Part 3 of Article 15, Parts 2 and 3 of Article 332, Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, two defendants offered a conscripted individual $12,000 to cross the state border at the "Rava-Ruska" checkpoint with a pre-arranged "business trip" from a fictitious legal entity and to influence the employees of the State Border Guard Service.

The men were detained while receiving the agreed-upon funds.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators from the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region, with operational support from the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
