Ivano-Frankivsk reported a suspicion of an IT specialist who created resources for the Russian Federation and cooperated with the so-called "Deputy Minister" of the Occupation Administration

Prosecutors of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported suspicion against a local resident who created and sold information resources for the Russian Federation, as well as collaborated with the occupation administration of the Kherson region. He is charged with aiding a state-aggressor (Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the suspect had business relations with the state-aggressor. He provided IT services to clients from the Russian Federation, developing web resources and software for them.
In 2024, he collaborated with the so-called "Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Mass Communications of the Kherson Region" of the occupation administration, who sanctioned the destruction of telecommunications towers of Ukrainian mobile operators and broadcasting towers. At the request of the latter, the IT specialist created and transferred a website for administration, thereby assisting the enemy in carrying out information expansion and propaganda.
Law enforcement officers detained him in accordance with Article 615 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. At the request of the prosecutors, the court chose a preventive measure for him - detention.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
