Under the procedural guidance of the Vyshhorod District Prosecutor's Office, a scheme for embezzling budget funds during the procurement of equipment for a municipal enterprise in Vyshhorod has been uncovered.

According to the investigation, the director of the municipal enterprise "Vyshhorodteplomerezha," who is also a deputy of the Vyshhorod City Council, in collusion with the director of a private company, organized the purchase of an industrial pump that did not meet the terms of the contract.

Instead of equipment with a control cabinet worth nearly 2.8 million UAH, the municipal enterprise received a pump in December, the actual price of which was only 241,000 UAH. Despite this, the director of the municipal enterprise signed documents about the allegedly complete delivery in accordance with the contract.

As a result, the state budget suffered losses of over 1.4 million UAH.

The director of the municipal enterprise has been notified of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 191 and Part 2 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, while the director of the private company has been notified under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 5 of Article 191, and Part 2 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court has chosen preventive measures in the form of bail of 908,000 UAH for each.

On September 16, the indictment was sent to the Vyshhorod District Court of Kyiv Oblast.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Vyshhorod Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv Oblast.
