Under the procedural guidance of the Bucha District Prosecutor's Office, two citizens of Ukraine have been notified of suspicion for using a forged document, committing fraud on a particularly large scale, and legalizing illegally acquired property (part 5 of article 27, part 4 of article 358, part 4 of article 190, part 5 of article 27, part 1 of article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation has established that the suspects decided to illegally seize a land plot in the Bucha district. To do this, they forged and submitted a fake sales contract for registration. After that, the plot was re-registered to a new "owner" and subsequently sold to other individuals.

As a result of these actions, the territorial community lost a land plot worth over 6.5 million UAH. To prevent further transactions, a seizure has been imposed on the plot — any actions regarding its sale, transfer for use, or registration of ownership rights are prohibited.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by investigators of the Bucha District Police Department with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine.
