Under the procedural guidance of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the defense sector of the Western region, the head of one of the workshops of the design bureau, which is part of the State Concern "Ukroboronprom," was notified of suspicion of receiving unlawful benefits (part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the suspect offered a man employment in his bureau so that he could avoid mobilization. The cost of the service was estimated at 4,000 US dollars. 

Law enforcement officers detained the official in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine immediately after receiving the funds.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region with operational support from the Department of Internal Security of the National Police.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
