A resident of the Kamianets-Podilskyi district has been notified of suspicion of organizing the illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine (part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Within the framework of the investigation, under the procedural guidance of the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Prosecutor's Office, it has been established that the suspect, together with accomplices, organized a scheme for the illegal crossing of the border for conscripted citizens.

For one of those eager to "leave," he purchased a motorcycle and even taught him how to ride it to implement the plan.

The next stage of the illegal exit from the country involved escorting the client to the border with the Republic of Moldova and providing instructions on crossing outside of checkpoints.

Law enforcement officers detained the organizer while he was receiving 6,400 US dollars.

At the request of the prosecutor's office, he was taken into custody with the right to post bail.

The man faces up to 9 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Khmelnytskyi region, with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Khmelnytskyi region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
