The Mirhorod District Prosecutor's Office ensured the enforcement of a court decision regarding the return to communal ownership of nearly 23 hectares of land from the natural reserve fund, which belongs to the lands of the local significance Landscape Reserve "Velychkivskyi." This territory is not subject to privatization or lease.

Despite this, in 2021, the local association of land co-owners registered ownership rights to the land based on a state act that was declared invalid by the Kharkiv Appellate Economic Court in 2013, and leased it to a company for agricultural production.

Considering the violations of legal requirements, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit with the Economic Court of the Poltava region. As a result of its consideration, the court canceled the state registration of ownership rights for the association and the lease rights for the company on the land plot of the natural reserve fund.

Currently, the court's decision has been executed.

Recall that in June 2025, based on the prosecutor's lawsuit, nearly 15 hectares of land from the Landscape Reserve "Velychkivskyi" were returned to the Shyshaky Village Council from the private ownership of the same company .
