Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes that resulted in the death of a person (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on September 30, 2025, at approximately 02:40 in the Krasnopillia community of the Sumy district, the occupiers attacked a house of civilians with a drone.

As a result of the enemy attack, a 35-year-old man, his 26-year-old wife, and their sons, aged 4 and 6, were killed.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the attack. 

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region.
