According to the investigation, the former hospital director intentionally did not make changes to his contract in accordance with the requirements of the legislation, as a result of which he, the medical director, the chief accountant, and his deputy, whose salaries depended on the director's salary, were overpaid during 2022. The hospital suffered losses of more than 1.2 million UAH.
It was also established during the investigation that due to the official negligence of the head of the department of this same hospital, the medical staff did not account for the remaining blood components, their annual needs, and did not prevent the spoilage of material values, resulting in the write-off of expired blood components (fresh frozen plasma and red blood cells). The medical institution suffered losses of more than 390 thousand UAH.
