In one of the schools of the Lyprovets City Council in the Vinnytsia district, a scheme for embezzling budget funds and official forgery has been uncovered. The accused is the former director of the educational institution. 

The pre-trial investigation revealed that the former head of the educational institution forged documents regarding the employment of individuals who were not actually working at the educational institution and were not fulfilling their assigned duties. She entered false information into accounting documents about the payment of salaries to non-existent employees. As a result, she embezzled nearly   258 thousand UAH of budget funds.

Juvenile prosecutors of the Nemyriv District Prosecutor's Office submitted an indictment to the court against the former head of the educational institution under Part 2 of Article 191 and Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - embezzlement of budget funds and official forgery. 

In order to compensate for the damage caused to the territorial community, a claim for this amount has been filed, and the court has imposed a seizure on the property of the accused.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by the investigative unit of Police Department No. 4 of the Vinnytsia Regional Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

The accused faces punishment in the form of restriction of liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for the same term, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
