In Kharkiv region, prosecutors returned the state to the state with a mound that illegally dismissed from state property

The Lozivska District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv Oblast ensured the actual execution of the court's decision to return to state ownership a land plot of over 0.3 hectares, located within the territory of the Blizniukivka Village Council.

The plot is entirely within the boundaries of a local significance archaeological monument — a burial mound, which is listed in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine (protection number 8681-Kh).

Such land plots belong to particularly valuable lands of historical and cultural significance and can only be alienated with the agreement of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the authorized body in the field of cultural heritage protection.

Despite this, in 2014, the district state administration illegally transferred the land into private ownership, after which it was divided, leased, and sold. There were no agreements with the competent authorities, which is a violation of the requirements of land and monument protection legislation.

The Blizniukivka District Court of Kharkiv Oblast granted the prosecutor's claim filed in the interests of the state represented by the Kharkiv Regional State (Military) Administration and made a decision to return the plot.

Prosecutors in Kharkiv Oblast are taking ongoing measures to preserve monuments of historical and cultural significance, ensuring their proper protection and retention in state ownership.
