Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv region, a 59-year-old woman has been notified of suspicion for collaboration activities (part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, a resident of Kupiansk consciously and voluntarily decided to assist the enemy during the occupation of the city.
In June 2022, she took the position of "acting director of the enterprise 'Komeenergo-Kupiansk' in the 'Temporary Civil Administration of the Kupiansk District of the Kharkiv Region.'
The collaborator organized the work of the institution according to the instructions of the occupiers, paid salaries in Russian rubles, prepared reports and analytical notes, and performed other duties while managing the enterprise.
After the de-occupation of the region, the woman moved to Kharkiv, where she tried to evade responsibility. However, law enforcement established her whereabouts.
The court granted the prosecution's request: a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail was chosen for the suspect.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the investigative unit of the Kupiansk District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
