In Transcarpathia, the prosecutor's office ensured the recovery of over 10.3 million UAH in damages from the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" due to illegal logging within the nature reserve fund.

Prosecutors proved in court that employees of one of the forestry enterprises committed illegal logging of fir trees, causing harm to the environment, the state, and the local community.

The Economic Court of the Transcarpathian Region fully satisfied the prosecutor's claim, and the Western Economic Court of Appeal upheld this decision.

The decision of the first instance court has entered into legal force.
