Did not show in the declaration the objects of real estate worth more than 4.5 million UAH: in Bogodukhov was exposed

Under the procedural guidance of the Bohodukhiv District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv Region, a civil servant has been notified of suspicion for intentionally providing false information in the declaration of a person authorized to perform state or local government functions, as stipulated by the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption," if such information differs from the truthful data by an amount ranging from 500 to 4000 living wages for able-bodied persons (part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine as of March 31, 2021).

According to the investigation, the chief accountant of one of the municipal enterprises in Bohodukhiv intentionally included false information in the electronic declaration for 2020, signing it with her own electronic signature.

She did not indicate a number of real estate properties in Lviv — two apartments, a parking space, and a non-residential premises, which she actually owned.

According to the expert's conclusion, the total value of the undeclared property exceeds 4.5 million UAH.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the SD of the Bohodukhiv District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv Region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
