The Office of the Prosecutor General, together with the SBU, detained one of NABU detectives. He is suspected of aiding or her

The Office of the Prosecutor General, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, has uncovered and detained the head of one of the territorial departments of detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, Ruslan Magamedrasulov. The high-ranking official of NABU is being prepared to be notified of suspicion of aiding the aggressor state under Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The mentioned head of the NABU unit, located in the city of Dnipro, coordinates the Bureau's activities in the frontline regions of Ukraine. At the same time, he maintains contacts with the aggressor country and negotiated with representatives of the Russian economy sector about the sale of technical hemp.

In particular, Ruslan Magamedrasulov acted as an intermediary for the sale of batches of technical hemp to the Republic of Dagestan (Russia), the illegal cultivation of which was organized by his father, an entrepreneur — Sentyabr Magamedrasulov. Thus, he helps his father conduct illegal trade with Russia and causes harm to Ukraine.

It was also established during the investigation that the high-ranking official of the Bureau had close contact with a member of parliament from the banned party OPZZH, Fedor Khrystenko, who fled the country and collaborates with Russian special services, influencing the activities of NABU.

Currently, information regarding Ruslan Magamedrasulov's contacts with Russian special services and the transfer of secret information to them, including information related to ongoing investigations, is being verified.

During the documentation of the illegal activities of the NABU official, it was found that Ruslan Magamedrasulov was supposed to be stationed in the city of Dnipro and responsible for operations in the frontline regions. Instead, he spent almost all his time in Kyiv and recently vacationed for several weeks in the Canary Islands (Tenerife).

Pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Comprehensive measures are being taken to clarify all circumstances of the crime and to hold those responsible accountable.
