On September 3, 2025, at 00:30, Russian troops shelled Druzhkivka using the "Smerch" multiple rocket launcher. Residential apartment buildings were under the occupiers' fire.

As a result of the attack, 7 civilians sustained injuries while in their own homes, including a 16-year-old girl.

The injured were diagnosed with blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, concussion, and contusions. They received qualified medical assistance. 

5 residential buildings were damaged.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kramatorsk District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in a criminal proceeding regarding the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
